Skin and half the sweet potatoes and place in a pot of boiling water, cook until fork tender and drain. Mash the sweet potatoes and season with honey and sea salt.
Season the chicken with all the listed dry ingredients.
Place the chicken in a hot cast iron skillet with oil and cook until it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees. Set chicken to the side and let rest before slicing.
Chop pecans and toast in the cast iron skillet, drizzle with honey.
In a separate pan, drizzle with olive oil and place asparagus, seasoned with salt and pepper, into pan and cook until desired firmness.
