Ingredients:
-salt
-pepper
-1 lb of jumbo shrimp
-1c dry rice
-1 egg
-1 frozen bag of carrots and peas
-soy sauce
-parsley
-oyster sauce
-minced garlic
-scallions
-vegetable oil
Directions:
Fill a container with clean water. Place the uncooked, dry rice in it and stir it with your hands a few times. Remove the starchy water and replace it with fresh water. Repeat 4-5v times until the water runs clear and is no longer starchy.
Place the rice in a rice cooker.
While the rice is cooking, heat a pan with vegetable oil and saute the minced garlic. Add in the shrimp and heat until cooked. Remove from the pan and place to the side.
Place the cooked rice into the pan and add the whisked egg to the rice and mix well continuously on low heat until the egg is fully cooked. Once the egg is totally dry, add soy sauce, seasoning and other ingredients. Fry on high heat for 1-2 minutes
